My AGOT 21 I'm considering naming Rebekah. She's going to be Orthdox Jewish. I have the Urban outfit from a few years ago, with the long blue cargo skirt and long-sleeved hoodie. I also have a star of David necklace for her too. That will be her regular outfit. She has hazel eyes and curly dark blone hair. She sort of looks like my mom when she was a girl. My mom's name is Roberta, so Rebekah sort of sounds like that.

My AGOT 4 is my Asian doll. I'm considering naming her LiNa or Li Na, or Yumi. Li Na is Chinese and Yumi is Japanese, so I'll have to decide which country my doll will be from. She could be a Chinese girl that her parents gave up because of the over-population laws in China. But I also love the Japanese culture. I think I'm going to make one of her hobbies Anime, both drawing and watching. I know Anime is Japanese but Asians(and Americans) from all over seem to be into it.

The only thing I'd recommend is that if she's Chinese and adopted, she probably wouldn't have a Chinese name...oooooooh unless she was adopted by a Chinese-American family! That could be fun!!! (look what you did, now I'm seriously thinking about AGOT 4)

My AGOT is Chinese, and I named him Jun. I think that your ideas sound neat. It's hard to make descisions!! The hazel eyed doll is a beauty! Hope that you enjoy your dolls!

I think that creating these characters are the most fun and worthwhile part of buying and collecting these dolls. The only things that are more fun is seeing them at AG Place and getting the boxes from the UPS guy.

I love creating characters for my AGTs! Yours sound great. My Isabel (#25) is half American Indian like me- and half Russian. She's going with me on a trip to Russian Ukraine next month to learn more about her heritage.

Your names sound great. I don't think there's anything wrong with a Chinese adoptee having a Chinese name. I know many Chinese adoptees who have Chinese first names, even when their parents are not Chinese Americans.

Let us know how your story turns out.

Too bad there's no graduate level class on writing AGT stories!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I just want to say that that's so amazing you're going to the Ukraine! I am interested in Russian/Ukrainian culture and politics so it's a place I'd love to visit someday in the (hopefully) not-so-distant future. Will you be taking pics of Isabel on the trip? I hope so - I can't wait to see them!

Katie, I love the names you've picked out for your dolls!

You've pick out some really great names! For your Asian AGT, my personal favorite out of the two names is Yumi. I don't know why, I just like that name . For my next AGT doll, I am going to make up a story for her. I have Elizabeth, my Asian AGT, who I am thinking of renaming and creating a story for.

Yes, I will most definitely be taking lots of pics! I am getting a 1G memory card for my camera, so I hope to create cool albums. Isabel will have a special one.

If you'd like, PM your address and I will have Isabel write a postcard to your dolls!
